The group is working with the modeling, simulation and control of logistic processes and networks. The dynamic shall be used to guide production and logistics systems.
    The spectrum of research ranges from concept development to implementation of regulators, e.g. for global supply chains or truck trips in close formation. The group works at the intersection of engineering, computer science, mathematics and economics, and thus is involved in the Bremen Research Cluster for Dynamics in Logistics.
    The research topics are also the focus of teaching. Furthermore, students and doctoral students of the International Graduate School for Dynamics in Logistics are imparted knowledge as well as respective implementations.
